Weather and Tide Information
 There is a saying in Maine, “If you don’t like the weather, wait a
minute.” At Sea Mist, we enjoy Maine’s extraordinary four seasons,
from the fresh blooms and sunny days of spring, to beach weather and
refreshing sea breezes in the summer, to splendid foliage in the
fall, and the occasional sparkling snow but moderate temperatures in
the winter.
Maine tides are dramatic at up to 11 feet, and important to keep in
mind to maximize your beach day. You don’t want to set your beach
chair and umbrella too close to the surf if the tide is on its way
in.
